About this arrangement

Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.798403 Composed by Sy Oliver. Arranged by Paul Hemmer. Contemporary. 14 pages. PJMS MUSIC #6704191. Published by PJMS MUSIC (A0.798403). Opus One was a major hit for the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. In the early 1950s, composer Sy Oliver added clever lyrics that refer to popular recording stars of the 50s including Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Les Brown and Ray Anthony. This arrangement features a wordless second chorus that allows the chorus to imitate a big band. On the third chorus solo sections for two male singers with SA background. An optional string bass and drum set part is included. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of popular titles and original compositions from a variety of voices and backgrounds. The length, difficulty, and retail pricing are determined solely by the discretion of the person who arranged or composed it.
