Some modern editions have altered the character of this piece by filling out the manual parts and adding a pedal part, so I have not strayed from Walond’s original to ensure an authentic performance as the composer intended it to be heard. The included registration is only a suggestion and is left entirely to the organist’s discretion depending on the specification of the instrument.
