About this arrangement

French Horn Quartet Horn - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.553306 Composed by Johann Pachelbel. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Baroque,Contemporary,Holiday,Wedding. 12 pages. RayThompsonMusic #2037333. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553306). This is Pachelbel's most well knwon piece of music. Very popular at weddings. Originally written in D I have transposed it into Eb for the horn player. Unlike other arrangements I have not given the bass line solely to the 4th player, which would be tedious in the extreme for that player, but have moved it around all the quartet. Similarly the melody moves around.Even at a tempo of crothet/quartet note = 100 it is quite a long blow, so I suggest making cuts by omitting any of the lettered sections. If your quartet can play the whole piece! :Enjoy.
