It was inspired by a pelican that I videoed when I was walking along the Amador Causeway in Panama City. That pelican inspired this song. I watched as he flew and dove for fish. He made it look so easy. This song reminds me of Satie's Gymnopedie because of its simplicity and waltz feel. The Panama Piano album was released on July 10, 2020. Recorded at the Peace Palace, Sedona, AZ on a Steinway B in the first two weeks of May 2020.
