This minuet has a simple A-A-B-B musical form. During the Baroque period, musicians customarily played menuets in pairs: a first menuet, followed immediately by a second menuet, and then the first menuet played again without repeats. This menuet can thus follow immediately Menuet in G Major, BWV Anhang 114 (also by Petzold), after which Menuet BWV Anhang 115 may be played again without repeats.
