Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.943186 Composed by Robert Cunningham. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 51 pages. Robert E Cunningham #4350579. Published by Robert E Cunningham (A0.943186). This three-movement Romantic sonata was composed in 1987 and revised in 2016. The idea of sonata-allegro structure, which in a classical sonata would apply to the first movement, is distributed across all three movements of this work: The first two movements serve as exposition, and their thematic materials are then developed and recapitulated in the third movement. In the coda all the themes are woven together in a magnificent contrapuntal tapestry. This sonata is designed to be performed as a whole, but the lyrical second movement is also effective when performed independently.See also:Robert Cunningham on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/RobertCunninghamsMusicRobert Cunningham on SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/lateromanticRobert Cunningham's Fan Page: https://www.facebook.com/RobertCunninghamsMusicRobert Cunningham's Web Page: https://www.RobertCunninghamsMusic.com This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
