First performed on 13th August 2022 at the National Flute Association 50th Annual Convention in Chicago, Illinois, USA, performed by the Chicago Philharmonic and Jennifer Gunn (piccolo), conducted by Leonard Slatkin. Note: the solo part to this version is different in places to the solo part of the original piano version of the work.
