Originally written for strings only, Gustav Holst added woodwind, horns and trumpets, and set them into two suites. I have arranged the first suite for recorder quintet. They are: Overture, Air, Rondeau-Minuet, Air and Jig. This music suits the recorder ensemble. If you like Baroque music, give it a try.
