English.Rahoon is a rapsodic work for clarinet solo and band by Alfred Reed. Using a poem by James Joyce, a haunting lament to a dead lover called She Weeps Over Rahoon, as the basis, the work was commmissioned by the University of Delaware for the outstanding young clarinetist Eudgene F. Gonzales. The work has enjoyed many fine performances and recordings, including one by the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra. These products are currently being prepared by a new publisher. While many items are ready and will ship on time, some others may see delays of several months.
