This sacred choral piece is a marriage of a much-loved Fanny Crosby hymn text ("Redeemed") with a much-loved Mendelssohn melody ("On Wings of Song"). I added a flowing piano accompaniment and a flute (opt. violin) obbligato, and placed an a cappella section in the middle. It's approximately 3:10 in duration. It has been my lifelong endeavor to provide fresh, yet accessible music for the churches and schools with whom I have been associated.
