Ich hatte eine sehr gute Zeit bei ihr, und was ich auf dem Klavier kann, habe ich vor allem bei ihr gelernt. Wenn ich nun dieses Stück spiele, denke ich voller Dankbarkeit an sie und an die Stücke, die ich bei ihr lernte. I dedicated this variation piece to my piano teacher Johanna Wiedenbach at the end of my music studies. I had a very good time with her, and what I am able to play on the piano I mostly learnt with her. When I play this piece now I think of her full of thankfulness and I think of the music I learnt with her.
