Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Bass Clarinet,E-Flat Clarinet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.764716 Composed by Reinhold Moritzovich Gliere. Arranged by James Pybus. Classical,Contemporary,Contest,Festival. 11 pages. James Pybus #6083869. Published by James Pybus (A0.764716). Possibly the most famous dance from Glière's 1927 ballet The Red Poppy is the Sailors Dance, sometimes referred to as the Russian Sailors’ Dance (although it is described as Dance of the Sailors from the Soviet Ship in the score and libretto). This lively dance occurs at the end of Act One. It is this musical selection for which Glière is perhaps best known. This arrangement for SSAB or SSSB Clarinet Quartet would be an excellent finale for a concert program, or it could also be used as an encore. Duration is 1:58. Contact me at [email protected]. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
