Yet ironically, it was one of his very last sacred works before he was forced to secular composition by the new Soviet government. This beautiful arrangement by James Tranquilla of iTromboni brings together a beautiful communion hymn based on Kievan chant with an added homage to Rimsky-Korsakov's great Russian Easter Overture solo. About 4 minutes in length, this work is appropriate for advanced performers.
