After a few minutes of creating a melody, I quickly wrote down some of the ideas for this song while imagining the anticipation of Christmas with family and friends and the traditional custom of giving gifts. What would be the most natural gift to give anyone, I thought. After finishing the song, the answer became apparent - the silent gift of a smile and thus the title Silent Gifts.
