She lived in Tucumcari, New Mexico, and her family was responsible for establishing one of the original schoolhouses where Andrea's great-grandmother was a schoolteacher. Fairy was also an entrepreneur and owned a business selling hats in Tucumcari.Andrea lives in Maricopa, AZ, and is a teacher for middle school choir and drama.
