With its slow and deliberate black gospel feel, “Somebody's Prayin'” provides an excellent opportunity to feature a soloist with the rest of the choir singing backup, or use a small group on the solo parts. It's especially suited for a soloist who can simply allow the Spirit to flow freely through music. Several rehearsals will be needed to work out rhythms and keep the voices together, but the final result will be well worth it. Powerful!
