The tune was originally written with a Son rhythm, however, in this version for a saxophone quartet the rhythm is Samba, a Brazilian dance.The use of percussion is optional. If it is not used, the player should follow these recomendations:-  The first three measures of the introduction must be eliminated to start in measure four.-  The percussion solo in measure 91 must be omitted-  Letter G is not played, as a result, the player must move on from measure 122 tomeasure 4.The use of percussion is optional.
