Horn and piano SKU: P2.70001 Composed by Crawford Gates. Chamber music, 20th century. Published by Potenza Music (P2.70001). The Sonata for Horn and Piano, Op. 48 was commissioned in 1974 by the School of Music at Ball State University in Indiana for premiere in June of that year when the University hosted that year's International Horn Convention. It was premiered by Barry Tuckwell, principal horn in the London Symphony, and pianist Michel Bourgeot from Paris.
