It is packed with unexpected twists and turns that you and your audience will love.It opens with a rolling sixteenth pattern in the piano, shared by the left hand and right hand. This pattern must be rehearsed to feel fluid and even. Damper pedal (sustain) markings are written in at numerous points but are to be observed at the discretion of the pianist. The trumpet solo enters with a simple outline of the main theme and transitions into a slow section where the piano and trumpet carry on in a musical dialogue, followed by a development phase, recap, and a surprising (but satisfying) conclusion.All compositions by Mark Powls are secured through MP Vantage Solutions, LLC and Mark A.
