The opening theme of this instrumental trio echoes throughout reminding listeners to "Stand Still and Listen." The relaxed, lyrical style of this instrumental piece creates a warm, pleasant ambiance and is an ideal selection for a prelude in a church setting.All notes for both the violin and cello parts are playable in the first position making this piece suitable for beginning string players. Ranges are as follows: VIOLIN – first G above middle C to the second B above (G4 to B5); CELLO – second G below middle C to the first D above (G2 to D4).  The VIOLIN carries the melody for the first verse and then the two instruments alternate on the second verse creating an echo effect.
