UPC: 822424031886. 9 x 12 inches.Commissioned by the Starlight Band of Tulsa, Oklahoma, here is a piece that brings a broad palette of sonic colors to the concert hall. The light and spritely opening evokes images of darkening night skies as one by one the stars appear. Soon, as with the ever-growing number of stars, the instrumentation grows into an expansive mural, filling the halls with sounds as colorful and full as a clear starry night. Then, just as it started, the sounds begin to fall off and disappear, gradually fading out just as the stars before the approaching light of day.
