Whilst Stone Age has a menacing and ancient atmosphere, an old German song can be made out in Middle Age vocals, guitar, recorder or even bagpipes can be incorporated into the melody, which gradually gives up merry Celtic dances. In New Age, the ‘present’, the Celtic sounds finally connect with untamed, rousing dance rhythms.In dit werk, voor orkesten uit de hogere afdelingen, lopen de delen Stone Age, Middle Age en New Age in elkaar over. Terwijl Stone Age onheilspellend en archa sch overkomt, horen we in Middle Age een oud Duits lied hier kunnen zang, gitaar, blokfluit en/of doedelzak een duit in het zakje doen. De melodie maakt plaats voor vrolijke Keltische muziek. In New Age (het heden) verbinden de Keltische klanken zich tot slot met meeslepende dansritmes. Die Teile Stone Age, Middle Age und New Age bilden die formalen Abschnitte dieses einsätzigen Höchststufen-Werkes. Während Stone Age bedrohlich und archaisch wirkt, erklingt im Mittelalter“ ein altes deutsches Lied optional mit Gesang, Gitarre, Blockflöte oder Dudelsack -, das allmählich fröhlichen keltischen Tänzen weicht. In New Age verbinden sich die keltischen Klänge schließlich mit wilden, modernen Dance-Rhythmen.Les Mouvements ge de pierre, Moyen- ge et Nouvelle ère forment les trois parties de cette œuvre. Alors que l’ambiance musicale dans le premier mouvement est plutôt menaçante et archa que, le second mouvement révèle une vieille chanson allemande avec parties de chant, guitare, fl te bec ou cornemuse optionnelles. Les harmonies du dernier mouvement nous connectent avec le monde sauvage et enivrant. S’ensuit une joyeuse danse celtique jusqu’au final.I movimenti Et della Pietra, Medioevo e Nuova Era compongono le tre parti di questo brano. Mentre la musica del primo movimento è piuttosto minacciosa e arcaica, il secondo movimento svela un’antica canzone tedesca, con parti del canto, chitarra, flauto dolce e cornamuse opzionali. Segue una danza dagli accenti celtici che chiude il brano.
