The city of Mobile and its coastline are highlighted in the second movement, Moonlight Over Mobile Bay, a reflective, lyrical piece. The final movement, Yellowhammer Stomp, captures the rousing state nickname musically and closes the suite with a series of octaves, chords and glissandi.
