Sunlight Mambo is an upbeat Latin piece written in spring 2021 with the emergence of the sun after what has been a very dark winter.The piece can be performed by a solo instrument (in which case, stick to the top notes) or it can be combined with another horns with a harmony line. Additional horns can also be added to thicken the melody if desired.The rhythm secton is encouraged to improvise their parts throughout. Although it is set to a fairly laid-back tempo (135/140bpm), an energetic rhythm section is recommended for this one!I hope you like the piece.
