Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to Judea, to Bethlehem to be enrolled with Mary his betrothed who was with child. Verse 1: Mary and Joseph traveled to an inn. But, the innkeeper had no room for them He let them spend the night In his stable full of hay That’s where baby Jesus was born that Christmas day. Verse 2: Joseph stood and marveled at the holy sight Around the baby’s head seemed a glowing light Mary held the baby and rocked him off to sleep She kissed him gently, then she began to weep.
