Percussion Ensemble (Crotales, Glockenspiel, Chimes, Xylophone, 3 vibraphones, 2 marimbas--(1) low A, (1) low C, Tibetan bowl) - Med-Advanced SKU: TA.TSPCE17-011 For vibraphone soloist and mallet keyboard sextet. Composed by Francisco Perez. Percussion Ensembles. Folio & Parts on CD-ROM. Tapspace Publications #TSPCE17-011. Published by Tapspace Publications (TA.TSPCE17-011). Originally written for solo vibraphone and prerecorded mallet keyboards (also available through Tapspace), this ensemble version of Tesseract has been arranged by Francisco Perez for vibraphone soloist and mallet keyboard sextet. Because of the frequent use of echoes and hocketing, this piece requires a thorough understanding of sixteenth-note subdivisions from the ensemble. The musical material was inspired by artists like Nils Frahm, Dawn of Midi, and Alejandro Vinao. This percussion ensemble arrangement was commissioned by James Campbell and the University of Kentucky Percussion Ensemble and received its premiere in April 2017. This piece comes as a professionally printed and bound score and includes individual parts in PDF format for printing or for tablet viewing.
