Brass Quintet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.775129 Composed by Edmund L. Gruber. Arranged by Bill Wilson. Holiday,Patriotic. 19 pages. Alexander Wilson #3478469. Published by Alexander Wilson (A0.775129). Edmund L. Gruber's "The Caissons Go Rolling Along" was written in the early 1900's and was later adopted as the official song of the United States Army.   Our arrangement of this presents the song twice. The first time it is presented in a transcription that is quite faithful to a 1921 publication of the song. The second time it is presented in a "big band" swing style.   This arrangement is suitable for use in informal Fourth of July festivities. Arranged for brass quintet (two Bb trumpets, French horn, trombone, and tuba). Performance time is approximately 1:40. Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
