About this arrangement

String Orchestra - Digital Download SKU: IZ.OMW226 Composed by Joel Pau. Score and Parts. 40 pages. Imagine Music - Digital #OMW226. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.OMW226). 9 x 12 inches. The Woolly Mammoth March was inspired by the long extinct giant creatures that once roamed this Earth. Starting with a brass fanfare, much of the music is heavy, demonstrating the size and weight of the mammoths. Later, a contrasting softer section shows the more gentle side of this mammal. The work closes with thunderous stomping. In the last bars of the piece (49-56) the musicians are encouraged to stomp in the shown rhythm when playing sustained notes (if possible).
