About this arrangement

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1078359 By Al Caiola & His Orchestra With Chorus. By Al Hoffman, Charles E. King, and Dick Manning. Arranged by Dave Gingras, John E. Dosher. Contemporary. Score. 3 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #5765631. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1078359). "Hawaiian Wedding Song" originally entitled; "Ke Kali Nei Aua" (Waiting There for Thee) was adapted from a 1926 love song written by Charles E. King and originally recorded by Helen Desha Beamer in its original (Hawaiian language) version but re-written by Al Hoffman and Dick Manning and renamed as "Hawaiian Wedding Song". The song was recorded by Bing Crosby, Andy Williams and Elvis Presley. This contemporary version features a root-based chord-blocking technique that John and I have used in many of our arrangements. We also took a few "liberties" with the melody by adding a few harmonies to make it a little more interesting and fun to play. We hope you like it!
