Clarinet Quartet,Woodwind Ensemble Bass Clarinet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1236811 By Ted Hogarth. By Michael Watson Moore. Arranged by Glenn Broadhead. Celtic,Chamber,Contemporary,Irish,Jazz. 19 pages. Four Mile Music LLC #832342. Published by Four Mile Music LLC (A0.1236811). Irish lilting is a highly rhythmic form of vocal music to accompany dancers, often using nonsense lyrics or what might be called folk vocalese. This little arrangement for clarinet quartet plays Michael Watson Moore's catchy, lilting melody three times--first in unison, then in traditional harmony, and finally in quartal harmony. The piece is scored for three Bb clarinets and a bass clarinet, but alternative parts are available for Eb clarinet (replacing Bb clarinet 1), as well as Eb Alto Clarinet and Basset Horn in F (replacing Bb Clarinet 3). This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
