It has always proved very popular in concert because there’s so much going on.The music is a tiny bit shorter than the original, so that it fits on a music stand without page turns, but no-one will notice!Guitar 4 is supplied in treble and bass clefs.Guitar 1 goes very high - one section reaches fret 19, but there is an “ossia” line, notated an octave below, and marked 8va so that reading the notes is easier. But it can also be played at pitch low down the neck where it will offer more security for less experienced players, or (in a large ensemble) played at both pitches.I hope you enjoy playing this piece!"
