The gently rhythmic style of this vocal arrangement creates a reverent, yet upbeat and uplifting atmosphere and is an ideal selection for any church setting; especially during Lent or for baptisms and communion services.This 2-Part choir arrangement begins in the key of F major, then transitions to the key of G major for the final verse and chorus. The first verse begins with the SOPRANOS and ALTOS each singing the melody for one phrase each, then the SOPRANOS lead with the melody for the remainder of the verse and chorus while the ALTOS add a straight-forward, non-complex harmony. For the final verse, the two parts sing unison for the opening phrase, followed by parts for the remainder of the verse and chorus. The vocal ranges are as follows: SOPRANO ~ C4 to E5; ALTO ~ A3 to B4.
