About this arrangement

Choral Choir (4-Part) - Digital Download SKU: A0.905181 Composed by Pete Deshler. Contemporary. Octavo. 6 pages. Pete Deshler #6210029. Published by Pete Deshler (A0.905181). An original composition in four parts for body percussion.   This piece is meant to signify the frustration felt by choral singers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the situation is serious and stressful, this piece is meant to be humorous. Humor is sometimes our best defense during stressful times. The piece uses several body percussion techniques: step, a palm drag on the thighs (using both hands) and a pat on the thigh. It also uses choral folders as percussion instruments. The folder techniques are: closing the folder, opening the folder, tapping the folder on the knees and dropping the folder on the floor. A choral sigh is also included at the end of the piece. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
