This idea was put to me by a student of mine, who asked me just to try how that would sound - first I was dumbfounded, but I always took her ideas seriously, as she had an unusual good sense of making things work together. I now adjusted the 4/4 time of the Bach Prelude to the 6/4 time of the Swan, and it sounded perfect for the first few bars! I was so astounded I went home and adjusted harmonically the whole piece in a similar manner suiting the harmonies of the Swan.I hope you enjoy it as well as we did!
