This arrangement is designed for a beginning student to play the PRIMO while an intermediate player (teacher, parent, friend, sibling) plays the SECONDO. All notes in the PRIMO are played singly with the hands in one position. By positioning the hands as suggested below, all notes are easy to reach from G in the Left Hand to A in the Right Hand. Suggested hand position: Left Hand thumb on C (middle C and then played one octave higher). Right hand thumb on D (one note above middle C and then played one octave higher.) This is a straight forward arrangement with the PRIMO playing the melody throughout. The PRIMO can be played as a solo when played as written. A little extra practice may be required to master the occasional switching between 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures.
