Solo Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.899145 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Rod Whittle. Classical. Individual part. 2 pages. Maggie Creek Music #5012855. Published by Maggie Creek Music (A0.899145). For solo classical guitar. D tuning.  2 pages. The level of difficulty is intermediate.Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 1756 -1791Mozart, whom his sister recounted as picking thirds out on the family clavier at the age ofthree for the pleasure of it, has been described as achieving miracles of sound across everyemotion. Indeed one runs out of superlatives trying to do justice to the quality and originalityof his compositions and the abundance of output. Anyone learning about his relatively shortlife must also add a tribute to his resolve and courage. The Piano Concerto No. 12 in A was written in the autumn of 1782 in Vienna. The Andantehas the flawless beauty of Mozart's slower music – its irresistible combination of musicalelements - but at a strict andante tempo the 32nd notes are very difficult to play and melody islost, so I have marked it Lento.Similarly the famous Andante ('Elvira Madigan') from the Piano Concerto No. 21 in C, writtenin 1785, is better played at a relaxed tempo. If the 16th notes do note sound clearly the pieceshould be slowed until they do. Again this is vintage Mozart; accessible, intricate and deep.Keys of both pieces have been changed to suit guitar.
