He was born into a Salvationist family so learning an instrument was almost inevitable. He studied the piano and trumpet from an early age and later continued his higher education studying piano, trumpet and composition at the Stockholm Conservatory. He became Rector of the Stockholm Conservatory from 2001-2003. He is now a well known composer, arranger and producer in Sweden. This is my story is a cleverly arranged trumpet solo set around the tune, 'Blessed Assurance'. It is set in a 'Latin' style and can utilize extra percussion if so desired and is the first composition by Krister Lundkvist published in TradeWinds.
