Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.965199 Composed by Robin Thomson. Arranged by Robin Thomson. Instructional,Jazz. Score. 1 pages. Robin Thomson #4838203. Published by Robin Thomson (A0.965199). 7th always moves down a half stepA little tip I use to help me find the first minor 7th chord in the right hand in each sequence is to look for the root note above the root in the left hand.  The 7th underneath it is played by the thumb and a finger is used for the perfect 4th above. To play the Dominant 7th chord, play a semitone below the lower note in the fourth of the II chord with the thumb to make a diminished fifth. To play the Major 7th chord, play a semitone below the top note in the diminished fifth of the V7 chord with a finger to make a perfect fourth again!
