The following three works for classical guitar duet were written twelve years ago while I was teaching the classical guitar In Makry Gialos, South Crete and were meant for pupil (guitar 1), and teacher (guitar 2) as a way of introducing pupils to the Vienna Classical style of the 18th century. Since then all three sonatinas have been orchestrated for classical size orchestra (without trombones and tubas) and are published separately as Classical Sinfoniettas 1, 2 & 3.
