Mountain dulcimer parts are written in notation and tablature. Tunings are D-A-D and D-G-D, no capo required. There are no tricky rhythms or techniques, so busy musicians can work these songs up with little preparation. The harp part has two formats: medium difficulty level for full range lever or pedal harp and easy or lap harp. The lap harp parts are suitable for 22-string instruments ranging from G-G. All songs are written in the harp-friendly key of G. Words for each song are included as well as interesting facts about the music and writers. Guitar chords are also included.
