3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 octaves handbells, glass or shall windchimes, concert bass drum, suspended cymbal, thunder sheet (or thunder tube or tam-tam), and optional 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 octaves handchimes - late intermediate SKU: CG.CGB1241 Composed by Cathy Moklebust. Christmas-Winter. With optional 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 octaves handchimes. Handbell Score. Chorister's Guild #CGB1241. Published by Chorister's Guild (CG.CGB1241). Thundersnow is descriptive of a typical snowstorm - the first section is soft, light and Christmasy, but the beauty turns to discord as an impending storm begins to materialize. A blizzard rages, complete with the growls and booms of the phenomenon of "Thundersnow" provided by percussion. The blizzard subsides, and we are left with the wondrous beauty of perfectly white mounds and drifts of new snow. Malleted bells and optional handchimes are used, and parts for glass or shell wind chimes, concert bass drum, suspended cymbal, thunder sheet (or thunder tube, or tam-tam), and wind machine are included.
