It was first performed by Andrea Bocelli at the 1995 Sanremo Music Festival, but the more famous version -  Bocelli duetting with Sarah Brightman - dates from a year later. Over the years this piece has become extremely popular for inclusion at funeral and memorial services and this organ version will be useful for that purpose amongst others.
