De band Toto, die werd opgericht in 1977, scoorde internationale superhits met een bijzondere mix van rock en een meer symfonische sound. In de jaren 1982 en 1983 kon je de radio niet aanzetten of je hoorde de klanken van Rosannaof Africa. Klaas van der Woude maakte een arrangement waarin hij deze beide nummers en Stop Loving You verwerkte tot een meeslepend geheel.Die Popmusik der 80er-Jahre erlebt derzeit ein großes Revival.
