Eine in sehr langsamem Tempo fortschreitende Harmonik wird durch eine genau festgelegte arpeggio- und tremolo-Technik des Bogens von mehreren unaufhörlich zitternden und sich in allen Richtungen unregelmäßig bewegenden Klanggittern überdeckt. Was durch diese Gitter hindurch tönt, ist eine äußerst vielschichtige, extrem rasch sich bewegende Musik, die gleichzeitig abläuft. Es gibt auch eine Version des gleichen Werkes für Cello (1981). (H.
