Each of the three movements reflects a different aspect of his character: in the opening fanfare, his personality is presented; then his work as manager, organiser and conductor is depicted in the dynamic Daily Life; while in The Artist, the sensitive, creative man himself is portrayed. An elegant tribute to the man with the baton! Trittico Festoso is een feestelijk werk in drie delen dat is opgedragen aan de dirigent van een brassband. Elk deel weerspiegelt een aspect van zijn karakter: in de openingsfanfare wordt zijn persoonlijkheid gepresenteerd; dan wordt zijn werk als manager, organisator en dirigent beschreven in het dynamische Daily Life; waarna zijn gevoelige, creatieve kant wordt belicht in The Artist.
