Cy Payne has carefully adapted the arrangement for the usual big band line up, plus optional synth. strings. The lyrical intro is on alto sax. The first 8 bars of the vocal have just a piano backing and then the saxes and synth. strings add just the right atmosphere. Muted brass contribute to the dreamy feeling, whilst Cy has faithfully re-created the powerfull brass figures from the original recording, before this un-missable chart glides to its magical ending.
