At this time, it is important to plant leafy winter vegetables and underground foods like potatoes, so that a family (whānau) can have food (kai) when the dark of winter settles in. Here presented in a scaled-back (but still exciting) SATB form for smaller choirs, or church groups.This anthem is perfect at community choir concerts, or as part of any Matariki celebration.
