About this arrangement

String Quartet Cello, Viola, Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1497351 By Pete Seeger. By Pete Seeger. Arranged by Homco/Crinion. This edition: audio, pdf. Folk. 10 pages. Homco/Crinion #1073764. Published by Homco/Crinion (A0.1497351). "Turn, Turn, Turn" (To Everything There is a Season) is a 1959 song by Pete Seeger that is based on the words of King Solomon in the third chapter of the biblical Book of Ecclesiastes. It is one of the very few instances in popular music where a relatively large portion of the Bible is set to music. An interesting and pertinent fact: in 1999, Pete Seeger arranged for 45% of the songwriting royalties to be donated to the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions - an organization dedicated to achieving a just peace between Israelis and Palestinians. This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
