This version of Variations on a Rococo Theme, heavily edited by Wilhelm Fitzenhagen, to whom the work was dedicated, was the only version known for many years. An edition by Paul Tobias and A. Stogorski that is reconstructed to the original version is also available from the publisher. Instrumentation: Solo Cello: 2.2.2.2: 2.0.0.0: Str (9-8-7-6-5 in set).
