I accepted the opportunity. This piece wasn't as big asplanned, but I did it as a sort of sketch, a call and response, an "invention" of sorts for thesetwo violins. This was fun to compose.The work is great for violin and orchestra solo concerts. It would be great for a solo break inbetween bigger works. It has a runtime of 1 minute and 53 seconds so it's good for a solo orduet piece to break up a concert program. It features the minor key with some modal texturesand easy harmonic structures between the two violins. It is perfect for the beginner or intermediateviolinist duet.
